SBA is seeking consultants for start-ups
Slovak Business Agency is introducing a new concept of SME support also focused on start-up companies. They are looking for consultants from various fields who can provide professional guidance to entrepreneurs or start-ups (such as legal, finance, marketing, innovation, IT, technology solutions, etc.).
WHO we are looking for
The candidate must meet the following requirements:
- University education,
- Provable expertise,
- Experience or potential interest in supporting startups /starting entrepreneurs or potential entrepreneurs through mentoring and, or consulting,
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment and institutional framework. Knowledge of related EU legislation (e.g.eu Cohesion Policy, the Small Business Act) is an advantage, just as is experience with successful Slovak or foreign start-ups,
- Experience in negotiation with investors, business angels is an advantage,
WHY
SBA plans to launch targeted activities to support the implementation of specific business plans. SBA wants to provide support in the form of consultations and expert advice or assistance in obtaining business financing. The subject of support from contracted consultants will be in relation to preparation of innovative business projects / plans, including elaboration and evaluation of the projects/business plans. Consultations and expert advice may be linked to/with:

– Preparation of feasibility study,
– Finalization of product development or functional prototype, including testing and initial presentation,
– Coding, marketing, campaign to promote idea or prototype testing with real potential clients,
– Pricing, marketing research, developing the project team and other related activities.
